This lab covers only a small piece of the entire roller coaster. The purpose is not to act as a substitute for going to the amusment park but to give students a chance to hone their measurement techniques and methods of assessment. Answers are not given because this information is one the web, students will also have access to it.
The lab is written in two forms. The long form takes 3 pages to print because it includes organized space to show student work and answers. The short form takes 2 pages to pring because is contains no spaces to answer the questions. The actual questions appear next to the movie links in the lab itself.

Students are to use the movies to answer questions from the worksheets above.The height differences are to be calculated using conservation of energy relationships.
